With the new report"Employee Master", you can unify all the information from the employee profile (personal and work) in a single file, including terminated employees.
Follow these simple steps to create your first report:
Step 1: Go to Custom ExportersIn the main menu, go toInformation Exporters.[Image of navigation to Custom Exporters]
Step 2: Create a new report from the template
- mClick the"Create Report"button.
- A window will open with all available templates. In the side menu, select the"Administrative"category.
- Find and click on the"Employee Master"template. You’ll see a brief description of its function.
Step 3: Customize your reportNow you’re on the configuration screen. This is where the magic happens!
- Unify the Columns you need:In the "Available Parameters" panel, open the categories (Employee, Work, Plan, etc.) and drag all the fields you need to the "Columns" section. You’ll be able to combine personal and work data in one place.
- (Optional) Include everyone, even terminated employees:The report is designed to include all employees, regardless of their status. You can use the filters to narrow down by termination date if needed.
- (Optional) Consolidate the information:If you want to avoid multiple rows per employee and get a summary, drag a field (such as "RUT" or "Employee ID") to the "Group by" section.
Step 4: Save and Download your reportWhen your report is ready, click the"Save and Download"button. Give it a descriptive name and you’re done! The file will be downloaded in Excel (.xlsx) format with all the information you selected, ready to be used by different areas of your company.
Considerations about visibility
The information you see in the report will depend on your role and permissions within Buk. It’s important to keep the following in mind:
- Administrator Profile:You have full access to the report. You can see information for all employees in the company, both active and terminated.
- Normal and Supervisor Profile:You only see information for the people who report directly to you. For this, your profile needs the"Enable employee master, payroll, and substitute exporters"permission.
- Other Profiles:Your access depends on the specific permissions of your profile. To view the report, you must have the corresponding export permissions enabled.
We hope this new feature helps you create happier workplaces, saving you valuable time in your analysis! ;)
